NW SPTC Socium working group

After scientists’ failure to draw the attention of regional authorities, deputies, etc. to the problem of industrial implementation of titanate silicates, we decided that it is necessary to establish a working group that would start real practical experiments to show their effectiveness.

In 2013-2015, with a warrant from RAS KSC, we set an objective to carry out a number of experiments to prove the effectiveness of these artificial minerals (sorbents). For this purpose we chose the most pictorial and urgent problem – utilization of liquid radioactive waste containing europium, which is utilized by no one in the world. In 2013-2015 we carried out a number of successful experiments on real europium doped LRW in Gremikha, which resulted in a scientific report.

We have conductive several very fruitful discussions on the use of our sorbents with military officers and doctors from Saint-Petersburg State University.
